Amazing Song to Learn
When I saw that Lindsey's sheet music was 40% off for the holidays, I hopped on the website hoping to find some sheet music from the Snow Waltz album. I was pleased to find Ice Storm. I am a public school orchestra teacher and one of my traditions is to perform different pieces for my students to do something special for them. I also do this so they can see me learning and performing pieces that I enjoy. I had a blast learning this song. I performed it for 6 of my classes. My students really enjoyed it. I played from the original version with the karaoke track, but I have NO IDEA how Lindsey plays the arpeggiated 16th notes on the second page at the speed she does! She is a beast when it comes to arpeggios and string crossings! I had to simplify that section, but really enjoyed the rest of the piece.
