great, but more than what I needed
The sheet music is well done with easy to follow timing, and is well marked for bowing. It follows what she plays exactly, which is really nice. If I could just change one thing, it would be to offer the violin sheet music alone at a lower price. I am not interested in the audio tracks or piano score, but it is available only as a package deal. Because of the higher price, I had to limit myself and not buy the other songs I was interested in playing. And I do wish you could just order it already printed out and have it shipped here. I'm used to shopping on Amazon, I guess! In spite of those things, I am enjoying playing it and am even happier that young violin students seem inspired by her music and want to practice so they can play it too.

It's Lindsey time!!
I have'nt played my violin for a year, but by finding this music i'm inspired to play again!! difficult it may seem, but practice makes perfect right?
A Good Song to Start With
I've been playing the violin for about 4 months, and this was my first of Lindsey's songs that I learned. I found it pretty easy to get the hang of, although bringing it up to its proper tempo is a little difficult. Song of the Caged Bird also doesn't require too much in the way of advanced technique, making it a good way to start playing Lindsey Stirling's music.
I'm a beginner and I played it!
I hesitated to order this sheet music because of the difficulty level of most of Lindsey Stirling's songs, but to my delight, I was not only able to play it, but I performed it five months later! This song is gorgeous, and the sheet music is extremely easy to read, aside from the fact that she does not include any of her bowings. The slurs during the chorus are honestly the most difficult part of the song, but once you get them, the rest is effortless. I highly recommend this song to any beginner; you can't waste your money when buying from Lindsey Stirling!
